Something about pets slipping on hardwood floors is so funny to me.
My sibling once had a dog that didn't realize how "slippery" my parents' bamboo floors were and she was running, tried to stop but couldn't, and just slammed herself hard into the wall. She was fine ofc but the panic on her face as her feet were desperately trying to get traction was really funny.

My family had a dog with a habit of zooming through the door at mach speed. We installed hardwood and, well... That habit only lasted one last time.
