Pitbulls aren't actually bred to be aggressive towards humans though. In traditional dog fighting you were supposed to be able to grab the dog and pull it out of the fight at any point. Additionally, most dogfighters were poor , lived with the darn things, and had families, so you didn't want a dog that was human aggressive. Most of the shitbulls you see are drug den mutts trained for aggression.
