They never, ever seem to consider 'one of these is well-written, the other is not'. It's also used as a twist, like how Michael Keaton as the Vulture was, through subverting expectations in a good way.

I take it the one on the right is from the new Spider-man cartoon as a version of the Lizard, like how the Green Goblin is black now.
