Reminds me of better times. You'd go out back to the creek and there would be deer there watching you from a distance.

@Rad_juju We had cats up in the Rocky Mountains and they did just fine. They would come home and snuggle up in the winter and then go out in the summer and do their thing. They knew how to take care of themselves. A heck of a lot better than any woman I've ever dated or is in my family. Really makes you think who are the sentient ones here.

Outdoor cats are actually really cool pets, even though people :marseypearlclutch: about them. My aunt had one and she'd just wander into the nearby swampland for like days at a time. Especially if she had lots of guests over, this cat would just leave for a week. It was like she had a life of her own and was merely friends with her owner, to be visited often.
