Jurassic Park is a great book and its film adaptation a masterpiece of cinema. But it's annoying that Chrichton swapped the name Velociraptor and Deinonychus.
Nowadays, everyone thinks the former was a 3.5 metre long killing machine, when in reality it was the size of a dog.

Therizinosaurus would have tasted pretty good since it was almost 100% an herbivore. Since it was also a therapod and thus more closely related to birds I bet it tasted like turkey.

Whole truth, total moral goodness, but don't forget the power to act on them.

Larger dinos like this one likely weren't feathered to prevent overheating.

RIGHT? Velociraptor was basically a big eagle. They're still cool af but not as scary.

What fish is that? And is that a pond? It looks like there are fallen leaves and is relatively shallow.

I think it’s a trout and the environment looks like either Idaho or Montana tbh. You see rivers like that there.
Edit: I actually think it’s a steelhead sorry.

They had them in some locations on the body. https://www.britannica.com/animal/therizinosaur
Edit: Also large therapods in colder climates almost certainly had more feathers than their cousins. Similar to mammoths vs elephants.
