The real reason for the TLM restrictions is because they've become a hotbed for extremism like integralism. What happened with the SSPX in the later 20th century is instructive as to how TLM communities could play out.
Personally, I'm not actually thrilled about the restrictions because I consider it heavy-handed and there's nothing wrong with the Latin Rite liturgy. When I first learned about them I thought they were unreasonable, but doing a deep dive into the traditionalist sphere changed my attitude somewhat. The strident traditionalists have a vicious, hateful mindset.
Progressive Catholics have been saying this for a decade and yet Pope Francis has only issued non-statements. This is what sets me off about the American trad reaction: these same people wax poetic about submission to Rome during the last papacy but the moment the pope starts saying things they don't like, they are ready to schism. It's so pathetically hypocritical and really shows their true colors.
I'm sorry for taking swipes at you. I'm just not happy about discovering a lot of unsettling stuff about my religion over the past few months as I've done a deep dive.

It's cool. @Bookers is not even on some total chud crusade, @Bookers just like Latin mass and @Bookers is fricking annoyed.
Like, this is how @Bookers feel about it.
As far the other stuff, @Bookers don't even care. If Rome said tomorrow that homosexuals could get married in the church @Bookers wouldn't bat an eye.
@Bookers just think it's dumb that they're like Yeah homosexuals can get married, but don't you dare read the sermon in latin.

Shouldn't that be a concern though?
I personally don't care what gay people do/ have gay friends/ etc.
But there is clear indication that homosexuality is a sin. That said so is lying and a million other things and all sin is equal in the eyes of god and all that.
If Christians pastors/priests/etc. bless a homosexual union it is directly going against the word of god for the sake of inclusion.
Priests shouldn't condone sin much less give it their blessing right? Whether it's lying, murder, blasphemy, homosexuality, adultery, etc. Idk just seems wrong to me.

Idk maybe they should, maybe they shouldn't.
It doesn't effect me so I don't really give a shit.
