Christians - do dead children go to heaven or heck?

I ask this because I'm considering the actions of women like Lori Vallow who kill their children before they reach the age of reason so that they can be guaranteed an eternity in paradise. If all children go to heaven, then what's the flaw in the logic? Shouldn't all mothers have as many children as possible and just murder them as infants so she can send as many souls as possible to heaven?

Sure, I agree. The woman will be darned for murder, but she has guaranteed the salvation of many souls.

No amount of parenting can guarantee a child will turn out a certain way. I was raised Christian and attended a Christian school and here I am, an atheistic adult with no regard for any gods. It seems the only way to guarantee your children will go to heaven is to kill them.

The conclusion of this study is that there are theological and liturgical reasons to hope that infants who die without baptism may be saved and brought into eternal happiness, even if there is not an explicit teaching on this question found in Revelation. However, none of the considerations proposed in this text to motivate a new approach to the question may be used to negate the necessity of baptism, nor to delay the conferral of the sacrament. Rather, there are reasons to hope that God will save these infants precisely because it was not possible to do for them that what would have been most desirable— to baptize them in the faith of the Church and incorporate them visibly into the Body of Christ.

This is kind of r-slurred. Why is it necessary to baptize an infant who has 0 understanding of what a baptism is when God is all-knowing and all-powerful? I usually don't do this but I gotta stand with the Prots on this one.
