> You are who God formed you to be in the womb

And since there's a substantial and ever growing body of evidence showing a strong biological basis for being trans, it does mean trans people are who they were formed to be in the womb. So why is a trans person transitioning a sin?

Putting that aside, is there even any verse which opposes trans people transitioning or seeking medical care? If not, why are we baselessly saying that it's a sin?

:marseysmughips:

God made them male and female. It's pretty simple as that. Anything else is liberal crap that isn't orthodox

And there is also strong evidence showing a biological basis for being trans. So God did make trans people the way they are. It's pretty simple as that too. Anything else is conservative crap trying to disguise hate as theology.

:marseyandjesus:

Of course. Christians come in all genders and gender identities

What of those of us who don't do the gender identity thing?

Every single human does the gender identity thing

:marseytransrentfree:

TLDR: Your god loves your unconditionally, and he will continue to love you regardless if your trans or not. This "scripture" that many christians point to is BS. If we took everything in the bible at face value, we would have to bring back slavery. Its fine to be trans.

im now a strict constructionist of the bible :marseycracka:

"Abba Moses asked Abba Silvanus, 'Can a man lay a new foundation every day?' The old man said, 'If he works hard, he can lay a new foundation at every moment.'"

"A brother came to see Abba Macarius the Egyptian, and said to him, 'Abba, give me a word, that I may be saved.' So the old man said, 'Go to the cemetery and abuse the dead.' The brother went there, abused them and threw stones at them; then he returned and told the old man about it. The latter said to him, 'Didn't they say anything to you?' He replied, 'No.' The old man said, 'Go back tomorrow and praise them.' So the brother went away and praised them, calling them, 'Apostles, saints and righteous men.' He returned to the old man and said to him, 'I have complimented them.' And the old man said to him, 'Did they not answer you?' The brother said no. The old man said to him, 'You know how you insulted them and they did not reply, and how you praised them and they did not speak; so you too if you wish to be saved must do the same and become a dead man. Like the dead, take no account of either the scorn of men or their praises, and you can be saved.'"
