I'm not big on the ol' devil's lettuce, but I have this small plant that sprouted on my property this year which left me wondering- is it possible to.get high off it? Has anyone even tried?
The context of this question is as follows:
I know this is Cannabis sativa sativa because that's what grows in the wild here. I think this is one of the species that people smoke, so that's one point in its favor, however, I also know that this is the edible cannabis which is processed into edible seeds and oils in many of the foods that I have on the regular, and I definitely don't get high off that.
Finally I've heard that while it's legal here to grow cannabis in the fields, you're not allowed to do so in greenhouses or inside homes. Could it be that it just needs more heat/sunlight to produce the good chemicals?
So what do you all think? Would it theoretically be possible to get high of wild plants? Should I try it for science ?

It's probably industrial seed. If it gets frosty (resinous) towards fall time I'd say give it a shot but more than likely won't contain thc. Can you post a pic?

Definitely not industrial, it's not grown anywhere nearby, but there are wild meadows and fields where you can find it right around my home, I'm certain it's native to here. I'll see about getting a pic tomorrow if I remember

Okey dokey
Depending on your seasons it won't start producing smokable matter until the day light is under 12-14 hours a day
