I'm not big on the ol' devil's lettuce, but I have this small plant that sprouted on my property this year which left me wondering- is it possible to.get high off it? Has anyone even tried?
The context of this question is as follows:
I know this is Cannabis sativa sativa because that's what grows in the wild here. I think this is one of the species that people smoke, so that's one point in its favor, however, I also know that this is the edible cannabis which is processed into edible seeds and oils in many of the foods that I have on the regular, and I definitely don't get high off that.
Finally I've heard that while it's legal here to grow cannabis in the fields, you're not allowed to do so in greenhouses or inside homes. Could it be that it just needs more heat/sunlight to produce the good chemicals?
So what do you all think? Would it theoretically be possible to get high of wild plants? Should I try it for science ?

You could probably cure it properly if it doesnt get infested with mites/spiders. Spiders would be noticeable easily as webs would start to grow all over the leaves themselves; mites would take a good looking for.
I personally think the only advantage of growing indoors is the controlled environment. But at cost, soooooooo.
Worth a shot, should definitely post results for science when you do
