50mg of dph in every 3ml
so imagine u just need some real sleep (ur actually tired not a druggie) and pour a medicine cup of this shit.
if you pour 10ml of this shit ur on about 166mg of dph (dph is commonly known as benadryl. in large doses it is a deleriant hallucinogen.)
if you pour 20ml then u are on 333mg of dph (at this range u are definitely going to trip. for my weight this is a threshold dose)
if you got those 30ml cups and pour some of this shit you are definitely tripping balls u finna be seeing Satan dragging you and yo granny to heck n shit 🤣🤣 spiders n snakes coming to get yo butt fasho neighbor ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
not to mention if u think "darn this shit not helping me sleep I better take some more". nah neighbor yo butt goin straight to the afterlife it's over for you
for those of yall who don't know what dph is go to /r/dph or google dph abuse that shit is wicked ur literally better off takin heroin than this shit

Almost completely unrelated but has anyone else heard those "zquil kids" ads? I know it's only melatonin but something about that shit rubs me the wrong way, like why are you giving your kid any type of sleep medication

There's that study floating around making headlines.
https://www.sciencealert.com/more-parents-are-giving-kids-melatonin-without-knowing-the-risks
Considering it's easy pop science blogging bait I'll assume the study says something else or surveyed 50 people

The level of alarm that should be attached to this study is ~ "1 in 5 youths drink warm milk in order to fall asleep each night"

I read an entire study about it and I concur
There is some speculation that it delays puberty in kids but no proof and for adults it sounds harmless at 5mg or less doses, even when used daily for years https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10053496#:~:text=Long-term melatonin therapy appears,% in the general population).
It's a very mild thing

Yep the only slightly wack thing about it is how frequently it's sold in unnecessarily high dosages.
Typically 1-3mg is the exact right dose, but it's often sold in 5mg or even 10mg dosages.
It cant hurt you, but tbh anything over 3-4mg will probably work against getting restful sleep rather than aiding it.

The main negative thing i've ever read about melatonin is that supplements mess with your natural production, no clue how true that is. i'm sure plenty of parents could use that type of thing more responsibly, but the "for kids" aspect is just weird

For adults it's harmless, doesn't seem to have any long term effects. Kids they aren't 100% sure for chronic use but generally it's an insignificant dose and has a marginal impact on your sleep as it is

I don't but I'm pretty sure most parents in history didn't give their kids sleep meds lmao, but even past that I just think the marketing is very odd. Sleep meds, but non-habit forming gummies for kids!

It's an older practice than the article suggests, just documented since the 1800s.
