I'm sure everyone else is as fascinated with my painkiller odyssey as I am, so here's an update.
Went 24 hours without oxys. I actually did surprisingly really well for the first 12 or so but it got pretty darn bad after that. So I'm making progress. God willing I might even be off it in a couple weeks. It's been so goddarn long I've got to be healing by now.
Unfortunately doc said I can't keep taking celebrex on a regular basis as it inhibits bone healing or something. Which is a problem because I think that was really helping a lot.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Have you tried lyrica (or is that celebrex?)? I have no idea if it works or not, just suggesting it. I know it's one of those bullshit meds but maybe it could be added. All I got for bone pain with cancer was tramadol lol A little happy I never ended up with an addiction though.
For now they make me take gabapentin instead of legit anxiety meds :/ I'm on a dose of Prozac so high I need a prior auth (off label)….the anxiety isn't a joke. Wish they'd just give me the shit that actually works (benzos) but knowing me…I'd prob abuse it. 👀
Godspeed. I've had excruciating pain before and it was like every second on the clock is 10 seconds long. Absolutely sucks when you're going through it.
Don't know what your issue is but hope you get better, king.

Thx fam. Broke my knee a couple months ago.
I've been on Lyrica years ago but it did weird stuff, and when I stopped I got brain zaps for months. Probably not worth screwing with when hopefully I'll be better in a matter of weeks.
That's gotta be quite a bit worse than what I get now. It's not agonizing, but it's enough to keep me from sleeping or thinking straight sometimes.
Gabapentin I never noticed do anything to me, but then I never knew what dosage to take.
Yeah, I know adderall would help me a lot but I don't have the self control for it anymore.
It was like that the first day before the tards in the emergency room realized they actually had to treat me. But it's been getting better since then so I can't complain too much.
