I love my prescription bottle. All my friends are in there.

I'm sure everyone else is as fascinated with my painkiller odyssey as I am, so here's an update.

Went 24 hours without oxys. I actually did surprisingly really well for the first 12 or so but it got pretty darn bad after that. So I'm making progress. God willing I might even be off it in a couple weeks. It's been so goddarn long I've got to be healing by now.

Unfortunately doc said I can't keep taking celebrex on a regular basis as it inhibits bone healing or something. Which is a problem because I think that was really helping a lot.

Getting off those is a fricking b-word, especially when you still have pain. Dont start drinking.

Yeah I'm trying to be responsible and reduce it gradually. The trouble is he'll only give me a small amount at a time, so I have to ask for a new prescription and then have someone pick it up and bring it to me, which can take a couple days. So I keep running out for a short time and that totally throws me off. I understand why they do it that way but I wish they would plan ahead a little better and expect when I'm going to need it.

That's the fricking worst. Then you finally get to the fricking pharmacy and theyre out.

Idk about controlled substances but you might want to ask your pharmacy if they deliver.
