Terrible fan"art" of my second favorite fish.

I promised to make some cringy DA-tier fan "art" of a certain fish. I'm sorry this looks so shit, I hate myself so fricking much :marseycontemplatesuicide:

This fish has done a lot for Sylveon and Sylveon appreciates it, but the fish doesn't seem to be very responsive at the moment, I think he just need some more fresh air :marseytroublemaker:

Also a shout-out to @Chapose for making the Carp Marsey :marseycarp3: unironically one of the best Marseys ever made. I based this drawings on the :marseycarpdead: but took some aurtistic liberties.

Paint.net is a great program, it's stable, lightweight and excellent for learning the basics like using layers and for making quick edits, but it's limited and unintuitive for making actual art. When you're ready to take the next step you should switch to a dedicated art software. I use Krita myself, it's also free and better in almost every way for drawing.

I made this very basic intro guide to Krita, showcasing some useful features and the steps I went through in the making of :marseylegion: which I applied in the making of the OP image as well.

I don't have much experience using Gimp. From what I heard, Gimp is better for image manipulation, while Krita is better for drawing.

Both seem to have the similar features and are very capable at drawing and editing images. To me Krita just felt more intuitive to use.
