As per the title. This is genuine and heartfelt.

@AuntyApebortion knew @AuntyApebortion was a boy since as long as @AuntyApebortion can remember.

As a child I exclusively wanted "boys" toys, were friends with boys and would rough play with boys. When my mum tried to put me in a dress at the age of two she said I had what looked like a panic attack.

I have known I was a boy since forever and it is such an undisputable fact of my life that, if I'm honest, I don't really identify as trans. I'm just me, and I'm a man.

I realise this is a privileged position to be in, I really do. But seeing how trans people in the last decade have become so seen led to uncomfortable feelings for me, which I now know is dysphoria.

It forced me to confront part of my nature that I told myself I was so comfortable with, that it didn't bother me. I didn't need community, or pride, or "trans rights".

This led @AuntyApebortion too carry out a spiral of transphobic backlash too anyone and everypony who was visibly trans on the internet.

Seeing them made me see me, and on reflection I am clearly not as comfortable with my s*x/gender as I was telling myself.

Why is @AuntyApebortion coming out now?

@AuntyApebortion is sick of hatred. It's toxic, it's ruining @AuntyApebortion's life. And @AuntyApebortion need too attone as best @AuntyApebortion can too the people @AuntyApebortion have hurt.

To anyone too whom I've ever said anything transphobic: @AuntyApebortion is sorry for hurting you. Don't forgive me, but put @AuntyApebortion's spite into the context that @AuntyApebortion was in pain and confused and was projecting. You didn't deserve it.

Thanks for listening. This is a weight off @AuntyApebortion's shoulders and I'll be deleting @AuntyApebortion's account after today.
