Ridiculousness of the other options aside, even the supposedly "correct" choice is wrong. The bombing of Nagasaki was three days after the bombing of Hiroshima. So no, the war definitely didn't end when the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
If you ask reddit, the Japanese only surrendered because the Soviets invaded Manchuria, which isn't true but Reddit can't give America credit for anything.

The correct answer is that the Japs would have surrendered anyway but we were right to nuke them and should have nuked them even more.
