I'm going to repeat from my former comment, JFK biggest accomplishment was getting shot. His death gave LBJ power to pass all the legislation they wanted, otherwise the Civil Rights Act would have taken a few more years to pass on a lighter version first, Apollo would have been cancelled by JFK himself, Vietnam would still happen and JFK would be seen as some average 20th century president. His assassination created a myth around him, same for his Nepo-brother.
