The history of Brazil - Summary on a Map - YouTube

This map is wrong, but I've seen it popping on other English speaking history channels.

This is the most accurate Paraguayan War map I've seen online. The first map shows the western tip of Paraná and the Misiones Province as part of Paraguay, but that was never under their control, the border was marked by the Paraná river even before the war as seen on the vid I posted, the Formosa province is also all wrong, the border set with Argentina before the war was the Bermejo river and it was changed to the Pilcomayo river after mediation of US President Ruthford Hayes. The disputed territory with Brazil was Mato Grosso.
