Macron worked with the leftoids during the election to shut out the far right before backstabbing them to coalition with the right after not agreeing with the left's wishes on Palestine and weapons to Israel and a pseudo-supply and confidence agreement with the far right. He's now spent the last month or so stonewalling the far right on anything they want done and he pissed off the leftoids enough on something (don't know - I think the latest budget) that they called for a motion of no confidence and the far rightoids sneeded, demanded he accede to some of their demands on immigration, he said no so they withdrew their confidence.

Macron himself will be fine but if he's not able to put together another government (he won't - at least not one that won't cause him to sneed) that's him being made a lame duck domestically for the rest of his tenure (and if he does find one he'll probably still be cucked domestically anyway).
