I fly for business 2-3 times a week. I’d rather walk than fly Amerimutt airlines.
I was in Indianapolis last year and flying back on a Saturday. Amerimutt airlines called me to see if I would switch my Saturday evening flight for a Sunday morning flight. I told them I didn’t want like $100 voucher, but I would accept a direct flight back to DFW if they upgraded me to 1st class on a 6am flight.
I showed up to the airport at 4am the next morning, and not only was I downgraded to coach but I had to fly to Connect in Chicago and the only seats available were middle seats in coach on both flight.
Everybody I talked to at the counter claimed that Amerimutt agents weren’t allowed to upgrade as compensation, and I ended up paying like $350 out of my own pocket to ensure that I didn’t have to rub elbows with plebes.
I fricking hate Amerimutt airlines with a passion, and so should you. I don’t know if Al Qaeda has an official airline, but I’d happily fly it before I ever step foot on an Amerimutt Airlines flight again.
