Got my RAD140 and PCT today, gonna hold off using them until April though.

Been doing full body workouts and the Hinge movements are killing me on a multiple day basis, gonna switch from RDL to hip thrusts 2 days a week.

I've been using the seated leg curl machine wrong all my life. I always used to try keep my back against the backrest and push against the handles to keep my hips from rising up. A few weeks ago I started leaning forward over the handles instead and it's amazing. The stretch in the hamstrings is better than ever, lower back involvement is minimal, and my hips are stable as frick. Feel like such a fool for wasting so much time but I guess fitness is about always learning and improving.

I started taking 180 mg of Tongkat Ali a day a few weeks ago to see if it helps with testosterone. It could just be my imagination but it seems like I've already seen some size increase in muscle and leaning out. I checked my total test about a year ago and it was only 480 ng/dl at 37 years old so I've been trying to get better sleep and lose some weight to increase it. Haven't been tested since then but want to get checked to see if it's helped at all.

You should get tested before and after using Tongkat Ali to see if it's actually doing anything. Lots of companies underdose Tongkat and Fidogia products.

Been lifting for 7 months. I like the gains. Have supplemented weight training with rock climbing gym.

Its not fun lol. I go 3-4 times a week. Its good but getting ready to go. Being there. Finishing. Seeing the same faces. It's idk, it's not joyful, just makes sleeping easier.

Started running the Nsuns 531 for around 3 months (first program i ran for the big 3), my squat went from 90kg to 105, DL from 140 to 147 and bench from 65 to 77. My goals for the year are 4 plates DL, 3 plates Squat and 2 plates BP

Failed 375 on bench today, so that ends my period of chasing higher 1RM. Gonna deload to 295 and spend four weeks on volume, then start the climb again.

At least I ROS'd it with ease, so I'm comfortable about doing it in the future without a spot. My main weakpoint is my wrists. Seriously considering doing some sort of neurodivergent lift offs and static holds of 350+ to strengthen those muscles.

Started going to the gym about two months ago, following Starting Strength because 4chan told me to.

I think my squat (190lbs) and deadlift (230lbs) are progressing decently, but my bench (100lbs) and overhead press (90lbs) are rather pitiful. Any dramatards know how to make bench and press catch up with lower body lifts?

Went from 150lbs to 172lbs, upper body still looks thin, legs look decent. I'm 6'1, 20-years-old. Give it to me straight, am I gonna make it?

learn to bench press properly. read the book, watch videos, look at powershitter form. you're just gonna get hurt if you don't do it right (you aren't doing it right)

Are you actually failing on lifts for your bench and press? If you're 2 months into Starting Strength then just do the program and make sure you're making appropriate jumps. 10 lbs a workout at first for squat and dead, 5 pound jumps for bench and press. Then when the jumps start getting harder for bench and press use 1.25 pound plates to make smaller, 2.5 pound total jumps. If you're consistently failing lifts ask yourself the first 3 questions:

  • Are you waiting long enough between sets? When it gets heavy 5 minute rests is not enough. Start resting 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 minutes between sets.

  • Are you eating enough? You're 172 lbs at 6'1", you need a lot of food. You should probably be eating at least 3,500 calories a day with at least 200 grams of protein if not more.

  • Are you sleeping enough? Shoot for 8 hours but with training some people need more. Sleep as much as you can.

Your lifts are ok early on but why is your press so close to your bench? Generally press is around 50-75% of your bench so you could probably stand to make some bigger jumps on bench for a few workouts to get you into the 140, 150 range. Did you start with just the bar or something? If you've done Starting Strength from just the bar you would be around 105 pounds on bench by now (45 lb bar plus 5 pound jumps for 12 workouts at 6 bench workouts a month). For the program you're really supposed to start the first day with generally the most weight you can handle before failing 3x5. So if you were able to bench 80 lb at 3x5 the first day you should be around 140 lbs by now.

Your bench and press shouldn't really be close to your other lifts and for trained people they generally follow a 5 : 4 : 3 : 2 ratio for dead:squat:bench:press so squat will generally be 80% of your deadlift, bench will be 75% of your squat, and press will be 66% of your bench. Those aren't hard numbers but just generally how things work out.

Every two days. As I said, /fit/ told me to follow SS because I'm a newbie who doesn't know shit, and SS says to hit the gym thrice a week.

Higher frequency. Matt vena and Russel orhii bench 6 times a week, now don't go out and do it 6 times a week , start with twice or three times a week. also add some bodybuilding style training after your lifts to gain muscle mass since you are on that begging stage
