I don't know if you guys have seen/heard it yet but over the weekend a country/bluegrass song blew up, in a similar manner to 'Try that in a small town' a few weeks ago.
Conservative media are calling it "the voice of a generation" "what everybody's thinking but too scared to say" and even some so-called leftists are claiming the song is class conscious. To me, it just looks like a blatant astroturf campaign.
Here's the segment of lyrics that made me despair:

I'm bigger than the weight reeled off. I'm just angry and tired of being dehumanized, having people celebrate these tropes; we're lazy, drains on society, binging fudge rounds on the taxpayers dime, etc.

I don't understand why an American would dislike lardbuckets so much. Isn't it a god-given right to destroy your own body and health, through the manner of your choosing?
Now here in Canada (or anywhere with socialized health care) it's another story. Wait times for medical procedures are much longer than they would be if we didn't have any fatties, and unlike in America, we can't pay our way past them in line.
It makes me rage when I have to wait hours at the ER for a legitimate medical emergency, surrounded by wheezing landwhales who are only there due to laziness, neglect, and lack of self respect.
