At the duck and waffle station just now I saw a mayo tell the chef to drizzle the whole thing in maple syrup

Like maple syrup on duck confit was… not very traditional already but he got the chef to literally douse the whole dish with it

Wanted to say that it was a burger but maple syrup so I also wondered if it was a leaf

I think that's more a southern thing. Those motherlovers put jelly on their breakfast sandwiches.

Fricking :marseytom: leafs :marseyleafpearlclutch: are so disgusting :marseyeyebleach: I want to turn them into potroast

there was a mayo beside my table who grabbed plates and plates of dry aged wagyu steaks and wolfed them down without breaking a sweat

but the real shocker for me IMO was that he was actually quite slim :marseysaluteccp: good way to maximise his ROI too

luckily for the restaurant i was at the obese ones probably cannot endure a flight to thailand lmfao

I do the same thing with good food. I usually fast the day before :marseyskellington: and after so I don't gain any weight

The trick :marseycandy: with those is to avoid :marseynope: any food which has been cooked in oil. They soak that shit in r*peseed oil to make you feel full faster.

lol they honestly didn't do that since the whole place was an open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs make your order + there were a lot of raw seafood and sashimi type of things

the age-dried wagyu steaks were proper grilled too

there were many other things that i didn't take pictures of because i'm not a foid but give it a try if you're ever in that neck of the woods: https://www.gojikitchenbangkok.com/our-menus#:~:text=SIGNATURE SUNDAY BRUNCH

the sunday brunch was worth it and you can find 30% discount vouchers online if you arrive half an hour after the buffet starts :marseyjewoftheorient:

That looks really :marseythinkorino2: good. If I was a libertarian :marseyclawpedo: or chaser :marseyquadsconfused: I'd probably stop there  on my way to meet some ladyboys

We don't have a lot of high-class buffets in the US, this is probably the closest thing to it:

I'd tell you to stop by Singapore since we have a lot of high-end buffets but even so nothing compares to the one I had today, it probably takes the perfect storm of having really low food costs + being well developed enough as a country to be able to serve food like that and still make a profit :marseysipping: maybe the philippines might have something similar i'm not sure

looks like the one @Eleganza just told me about! but honestly i've a gut feeling you can find something good but costly in vegas i'm not sure

Did it at least taste good? Cause otherwise that looks atrocious.

Might as well order a Peking duck from those seedy Chinese food stalls.

Lol it was pretty bad

The Peking duck was pretty good but most of the other “premium dishes” were better lol
