Anxiety about listening to the Ozempic episode - any advice?
TL;DR how much of the ozempic episode focuses on the potential risks of taking ozempic for weight loss? I am worried that hearing this will trigger a lot of anxiety in me.
Hey all, I have listened to every episode apart from the Ozempic one, and would love another Aubrey and Mike dose, but I have a very close relative who is taking ozempic for weight loss. I have a lot of problems with anxiety worrying about the wellbeing of this relative anyway (not because of their weight, but because of a lifetime of them having other unrelated illnesses, and because I am an anxious mess, and I worry about them all the time even when there is no need). They also have heart failure (just mentioning this because I saw in the sources that one of the articles mentions heart failure).
Just wanted to ask if it would be safe for me to listen to the episode without getting too anxious. Do they talk a lot about the potential risks of Ozempic? I'm ok with hearing them in passing, but I don't want lots of case studies of people who have crazy negative side effects, because I will spin out worrying for days.
(I have considered that it might be good to know these things in case my relative doesn't, but they feel that they really need Ozempic at the moment because they are being denied surgery until they lose weight, and are in a lot of pain waiting for the surgery, and I completely respect that. I also know them well and trust that they have done their own research - this is more a case of protecting myself from my own triggers.) I hope that makes sense

I guess I should've assumed this was the case. Do you hear a lot of heavy breathing or does someone edit that out?
