"Society's arbitrary grooming standards"

They're not arbitrary. Shaving and keeping yourself kempt shows you take time and discipline to take care of yourself. This implicitly tells others you may well take care of them. You can have a beard but if it's scraggly and not kept up, people will subconciously realize your home life is probably a bummer. Same with being fat.

I promise, liberals, that society's norms didn't all evolve out of 5 white men cartoonishly rubbing their hands together and debating the best ways to keep everyone else down.
