I think you right in that they're the cause of the problem. Things like antibiotics came in and solved huge problems with a simple pill. Now everyone expects all problems to be solved so simply... "You're not losing attractiveness because you're old, it's because you're using the wrong face cream!" Or even "I'm so hot because I'm wearing my super expensive shoes"

My doc raises dosage whenever I ask
I dialed it in using my tolerance. If I take the weekend off and it doesn't hit like it should be illegal on Monday then it's too high
