I only just realised that this isn't /r/plussize. Reddit has fallen so far in the last decade.
There's no genuinely good advice anywhere, one of the top comments mentions Health At Any Size, more comments mention therapy than putting down the fork... The quality of writing is terrible too.

I still can't believe that like half of progressive people I know honestly believe that genetics cause weight and you can only slighty affect that, despite that fact that fat people have been a like 0.1% minority of poeple for most of human history
