I don't think it is a party issue. Both Republican and Democratic elites are fatphobic although they express it differently and fat rights don't make money for corporations while the diet/wellness industries make a lot of money and fat people are still convenient scapegoats for them. The rising tide of fascism is a danger to anyone who isn't in a conventionally standard body type and that would be true no matter who won.
Half of republicans are fat so i don't think anything will change due to the election
