At the end of the day, yes, you are the only one in control of your actions and have soul agency over what you consume.
However, the way we burgers subsidize corn syrup/sugar/fatty foods makes the shittiest food for you very affordable and easier than ever to shove down your gullet.  We are machines that have evolved over billions of years to sugar+fatmaxx, and some morally questionable people have very much cashed in on our biology.
To be honest, many of society's issues could be solved if we essentially got to install some new firmware because we're way out of date.  Our bodies still think we need to eat and frick and fight as much as possible to survive.
