Ok so I started this 3 day fast together with @RPD. This isn't my first time fasting as I do regular 1 or 2 day abstinence periods for gut health related reasons. I gained around 1 or 2 kilos on holidays in a really good Austrian hotel/resort (its a buffet/3 course menu mix frick you I paid too much not to pig out at the opportunity) so this is just me trying to loose it.
I drank around 3 or 4 liters of water today and some Red Bull energy zero (luv me caffeine simple as) and I feel fine. Hunger should set in tomorrow and then subside on day three. Anyway taking the opportunity to absolutely mock the shit out of @dont_log_me_out lmao fat butt wigga.
My weight morning of day 1: 79.6 kilos (frick you mutts wont type lbs) 23.1 BMI

What does something like this do to actual men with muscle mass? I'd love to try it but don't want to sacrifice my gainz.

Can't be 100% sure, but from what I've heard, you won't lose any gains. The body intelligently attacks the fat first, not the muscles. If you're worried, maybe just record your limits, and make sure they're not affected after the fast is complete.
