My BMI is 22.5 and I would need to put on about 60 lbs to be considered obese (30+ BMI). I cannot fathom carrying even remotely that much more weight. It is hard to believe that 40% of American guys have - at minimum - a 30 BMI.
My unsolicited advice for anyone meeting that criteria is to get a fitness tracker and try to do 10k steps a day. Don't go to bed until you hit that mark. Obviously you also need to improve your diet.
