I have actually seen this happen.

Some southern-fried chuds in the military who love David Allen Coe and complain about the erasure of the white race suddenly don’t care about that stuff anymore once they meet a Black qt.

First it’s kinda DL, then they start to cope (yeah, but you know, she’s basically white/She doesn’t like ghetto people either/She likes metal/her grandpa was white)

Then they suddenly aren’t a chud and never were! What are you talking about? And they’ve scrubbed their social media (tbf most people do this at around 23 or so)

I just think it’s funny because racist behavior, a lot of times, is rooted in tribalism—once those people that were the other become part of your tribe, suddenly they’re not so scary or evil anymore.
