The only part I disagree with is the salary part. They need to shoot WAY higher, 30k is hardly any money! 100k/year is the MINIMUM, and that's pushing it!

Speaking of documentaries, just watched a short one on Mad Cow Disease.
The Science immediately said "it's perfectly safe to consume infected meat, it can't jump species."
Then when it did jump species, they kinda ignored it and continued telling people beef is Safe and Effective. They had whole PR events about how safe it is to eat beef.
Then after people started dying, they initially blamed it on unrelated factors. Once it became clear to the public that infected beef was causing people to die, Science begrudgingly admitted "yeah you shouldn't have been eating the beef" and now it's a national shame 20 years later.
Glad nothing like that will ever happen again
