“We all have relationship ‘deal-breakers', and that does not make us shallow, we’re just discerning singles that know what we want and are attracted to. Obviously there is more to it than just height, but for many of us that initial "attraction" is at least a starting point.

I recall reading somewhere that these speed dating events are overwhelmingly peopled with 40something
women. That certainly matches the tone here. A swarm of choosing beggars, demanding the attention of well-educated, tall, and interesting men in their 30s and 40s.
But the men don’t appear; they’re capable of getting a date with a 28-year-old attorney with just a few minutes on Tinder. Just Google “speed dating no men” and you’ll see dozens of instances where zero men appeared.

All the Tall, handsome, well educated, Interesting and high earning men in their 30+ are dating tight young gussy. Why would they settle for post wall gussy, especially when you consider pregnancy becomes more complicated past a woman's late 20s with higher chances of birthing a downie or some other genetic disease.

Whenever I've seen speed dating advertised there's normally some pretty blunt qualifications. Ex: college degrees only, advanced degrees only, interracial only, etc.
