I love her so much. And she's unironically right. In terms of justice issues the near is always more important than the far, if you truly did care for the Palestinians "boycotting" Starbucks (what did they actually do anyway) is the least you can do but if you're not focused on that kind of atrocity porn it really makes no sense to LARP.

The fricking most useful retort I have come up with this issue is fricking whenever I am forced to say something on the fricking issue I just say "I'm much more concerned with the fricking situation in Ethiopia and the fricking tigray crisis. Did you know 30 times more people have died in that disaster, b-word? You only care about this because the fricking internet tells you to. I have sent over $5000 to Ethiopia, God I hope the fricking terrible things happening there come to a fricking resolution quickly" they shut up pretty quickly and leave me alone.

In reality I know frick all about Ethiopian politics and tigray crisis
