Girl talk! [girls only, males catch a ban] For a 1 year anniversary (dating, not marriage), do you prefer an event (like a nice dinner or spa day) or a tangible item (jewelry or something like that)?

i hesitate to leave jewelry decisions in the hands of scrotes because i remembered this post a while back https://old.reddit.com/r/relationships/comments/32luxm/update_i_f26_hate_the_ring_my_fianc%C3%A9_m27_proposed/ where everyone was like "wtf you awful b-word how could you be so unappreciative- OH NEVERMIND WTF" when they saw the ring and i sent it to a few scrotes to see what they thought and they were all like "i see nothing wrong here" and the fact that it looks rootbeer flavoured is a positive

i would say a nice hobby related gift but it's so easy to go wrong buying something for someone elses hobby i like tangible things but even tho it's less romantic i think i'd rather be told they are taking me to go pick out my ideal thing whether it's jewelry or hobby or whatever
