20-24 crashed seemingly just as hard, while 25-29 slumped as well.
I think that somewhere in the 20-29 range is ideal for starting a family, but nobody has time for that except for people who don't think or do much.

every doctor friend i have p much follows this exact plan +-3 years:
finish college 22
med school 26
residency 30
have 1 kid, parents do most of the work +- man/woman sacs their career slightly (smaller loss now since u cant punish women for maternity leave)
work
have second kid before 35 (3-4 year window)
and ur done! population saved

Boomers would never sacrifice their retirement to raise their grandkids, they made 40 years of movies, TV shows, and other boomer media to tell Gen X'ers and Millennials that its their job to raise the kids. They fear death to the maximum yet sit around doing nothing and refusing to help anyone in anyway.
