This doesn't get enough attention: the fact that abusive men use babies to trap their victims. Conveniently for them, the patriarchy is on their side: wanting a baby makes them a good father; and any woman who objects becomes a bad mother.

Guys have you ever considered men do the same thing but women have zero recourse because of the patriarchy so it's even worse, actually?

That doesn't even make sense. The expecting mother can unilaterally decide to abort the pregnancy over any objections of the father-to-be. He has zero legal recourse.
