One thing moids are infinitely better about than foids is accepting children from a previous marriage. Foids absolutely will not do it. There is a lot of truth to the evil stepmother stereotype. You should know your stepmother would prefer you dead and totally out of her and your father's life. She will do everything in her power to turn your father against you and to get you out of the will and everything to her own children. This is an overpowering instinct in foids. Thank goodness my father married a woman with no kids and refused to give her any so that we are all she has.

You're not wrong. My dad remarried when I was 11, and his new wife had a son. She got very jealous when my dad spent more time with me and my sister than with her kid. She even tried to get my dad to go on vacations with just her and her son. Funny thing is she probably cared about me more than my own mom. Anyway, her son died later from a stroke, and she can't have any more kids, so she doesn't give a frick now.

My mom hates me because she got knocked up in college, married my dad because of it, and blames me for wrecking her career. She always projected her hatred for my dad onto me, so I got treated way worse than my sister. Plus, I got her boyfriend arrested for SAing me as a kid, which she'll never admit, but I know she resents me for that too. She's got some hardcore man-hating issues and always said she wished I was a girl or aborted. She used to beat and scream at me a lot as a kid too. Can't pin down one exact reason, but I don't really care anymore, it's all in the past.

I don't talk to her much now. Last time she called was like six weeks ago. She used to send texts about how ungrateful I was for avoiding her, but that's cooled down. Now she acts so weirdly nice. I get a little pissed when she talks to me but try to keep it cool. Pretty sure she doesn't give a shit either, just hits me up when she's lonely and forgets about it once my sister talks to her.
