Yeah, it's like a catch-22. If they know you well enough to trust you with the truth, then you'll have already made it through the first date! Without having gotten to know you, she has to assume the gun is loaded no matter how safe it really is for her.

Blame the circumstances that make women feel unsafe while dating, not women's totally understandable response.

That's why if foid tries to bail on me like this, I'll make sure to make her very uncomfortable

Yeah, I had a foid do this to me once. She told me her cat ate her friend's weed lmao. It was annoying but whatever. Dating is a numbers game. Shrug and move on.

It's pathetic to see Redditors justify this behavior by saying "it's fine for women to deceive and lie to protect themselves" though. I mean yes sometimes this is obviously true but it's not a green light to enjoy a free dinner and then bail or w/e.
