I have a crackpot theory I wanna spitball real quick.

I think the Dems' male bloc strategists have greatly overestimated how effective abortion messaging was going to be going into 2024. If you're a (D) man of means, you obviously benefit from being pro-choice: you can bang as much alt-gussy as you want, and don't have to fear the dreaded demon of commitment/marriage in the first place. (or you can be like Mark Hamill and "convince" them to abort under penalty of social pressure)

But most men today aren't what you'd consider attractive by (D) foid standards. In fact, by the Pareto principle, over 80% of men are unfrickable to most women, including 100% of dramatards. So why would you ever give a shit about the future of marriage and abortion when nobody's fricking you now?

i feel like they dont realize that while polls might show that demographic a or b supports something they fail to consider how they prioritze that support compared to other issues. Men who may be pro choice might vote for pro life candidates bc while they diaagree with them on abortion, the pro life candidate may support other issues that the men care about more, like gun rights forign policy, or the economy
