I mean all sauces are gravies. My mom moved to New Orleans for a few years and discovered those people even call tomato sauces red gravy.

I didn't have time for real demi glace, its veg stock reduced with some beef base and pureed tomato thickened with roux. It's not an espagnole, bechamel, or valute; which are what I would generally call gravy.
