Underrated cuisine thread

My Top 3 underrated cuisines:

  1. Tunisian: Couscous, Lablab and Harissa are criminally underrated!

  2. Iranian: Ghormeh Sabzi, Fesenjoon and Tahdig are my favourite Iranian dishes.

  3. Ethiopian: Injera, the sides and those spicy sauces are really amazing!

Honourable mentions: Peruvian and Georgian cuisines. Feel free to add more.

yeah african cuisine is interesting, unfortunately not very common here but I had Ethiopian food in France (come to think of it there were many african restaurants and I was in Marseille so Paris probably has more? :marseyxd:)

sadly I was with :marseychingchong: the past couple of times I was in Europoor and they kept wanting to find chinese food so I couldn't explore more exotic tastes :marseyrain:

The African food in France comes mostly grom West Africans right? It would be very starch and carb heavy then. I much prefer East African, specifically Horner cuisine tbh.

Among Euro food, I feel Hungarians have interesting cuisine too.
