Making pad thai today and I could not think of any other vegetables that should go in it. Obviously I'll have peanuts and eggs and all the normal stuff in it.
Is it acceptable to have green onions and bean sprouts as the only vegetables in pad thai?

Red bell pepper, some garlic, lime juice and cilantro are other standard additions to pad thai.

It would be used as a garnish in the case of the pad thai, but yeah they definitely use it over there. They also have an equivalent that's a little stronger tasting called culantro.

It's called coriander and it's in a lot of Asian dishes. Sichuan recipes especially use tons of it.
It's also known as Chinese parsley lol so that should give you a clue!

I didn't know that, Coriander to me is only the herb, I've never seen the seeds or used them in any recipe.
I know there's a nice Szechuan dish that uses it, basically beef with an absolute shitload of shredded chilli and coriander. It's obscenely hot.
