(Dinner thread) made my famous pad thai today!

Bet you can't tell where my favorite place to shop is. It's a delightful chicken pad thai with onions, garlic and scallions with a traditional pad thai sauce and with a little bit of peanut sauce added in. And when you have pad thai you just have to have some crushed peanuts and bean sprouts. I was lazy and didnt feel like making the sauce from scratch tho so it could be better. tbh sounds like the asian food you've had just isn't very good, imo it should generally be much more spicy than sweet

I think the chink chefs modify the chink dishes in the west to suit western palates so maybe that's why the food tastes sweet... and the same happens here in Singapore that you can tell when the chef comes from China because the spiciness and shit can be quite extreme :marseyburn:
