Can someone share their favorite sprouts recipe?

Step 1. Replace them with cauliflower or lettuce

  • preheat to 400

  • halve your sprouts (20 or so)

  • chop some bacon (4 strips)

  • toss them in 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • spread single layer on a baking sheet (use some foil, shiny side up)

  • sprinkle with salt and pepper

  • cook for 15 minutes, then pull them out and toss 'em around

  • add 1/4 cup of dried cranberries

  • stick them back in for 5+ minutes

  • pull and serve

It scales easily if you're having a shitload of people over for Thanksgiving or Christmas

I really like putting pads of butter on the individual slices before they go in the oven, comes out tasting great and having an amazing texture. But i deepfried a bunch of shit the other day so i didn't do it this time

Slice them thin

Make a vinegrette

Add chopped tomatoes, nuts, dried fruit(raisins!sultanas,peaches..) nuts, cheeses, olives, slivers of chorizo

Either add croutons or cooked pasta

Mix together with seeds and toss together.

You now have either a nice warm salad or filling meal to eat cold. I toss in some pesto as well as a final topping.
