Is there a good way to make hot dog water without hot dogs?

I really like pasta cooked in hot dog water but I don't like having to buy and eat hot dogs every time I make it

No prob, better than bouillon is incredibly versatile, I'm partial to the beef and chicken ones as a replacement for stock. Do keep in mind the stuff can be strong, so don't add too much.

Is that brand better :marseygenetakovic: than other ones like Orrington?

Orrington apparently doesn't use dairy in some offerings. Which is useful for vegan recipes, otherwise I presume that Better Than Bouillon is going to have a richer flavor. Both brands are probably pretty good as a whole, however for your use you probably want Better Than Bouillon for the richer meat flavor.

Edit: some people say Orrington is extremely salty, so something to be aware of.
