Absolutely beyond belief that an Asian with $ to travel would be unaware of the price of king crab to think outside a buffet they could get 8 lbs for $20
Classic behavior.
There's a flat rate all you can eat made to order sushi place that my family loves back in America. We miss it so much. This reminds me of living places where the restaurants are worth the money.

honestly both her and the restaurant are sketchy lmao

There are still some of these places here but the cheaper priced ones have all closed down gone were the days when $20-30 gave you all the sushis and sashimis and even Japanese beer
The one redeeming quality of Filipino restaurants is that you can get the local rum cocktails and import beers for $1-2 USD at most places. We have the cheapest booze in Asia.
But I'm a recovering/recovered alcoholic so I don't even get to take advantage of it.
I wouldn't on carpaccio or sushi here even at the "fine dining" establishments. There's a local version of ceviche called kinilaw but we just make it at home when sufficiently fresh tuna/red bass is available.
Rdrama is a gang of cruel cute twinks. Trolling is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for frickoffs and misfits—a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.
Well she was eating at one of the very touristy places so prices there definitely tend to be higher. This random seafood place I googled has it at $19.80 / 100 grams if you pick it up yourself while she was charged $30 / 100 grams but I think that's quite a typical restaurant mark-up + touristy location tax
I think the rip-off is her claiming that when the waiter told her it was $30 / 100 grams she assumed it was $30 for that many amount of crabs and that the waiter pushed the expensive alaskan king crabs to her instead of the normal mud crabs locals here are used to eating... shady but I mean it happens everywhere that someone tries to shill you something expensive
She's either incredibly naive or just trying not to pay the bill lol

Yeah they're mostly around $50-60ish which is a bit awkward because you could probably top up $10-20 for a hotel buffet with alaskan king crabs hehe
