This is easy for me. Coke and cookies. I actually gave up coke and all soft drinks a few years ago. One of the best changes I ever made.
I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, but I like products with chocolate in them.

I just don't seek out ice cream as an adult and cake never really satisfies beyond the frosting, unless it's something elaborate like a trifle or Victoria sponge cake.
I rarely drink sugar sodas anymore, but I'm an absolute sparkling water/seltzer addict.

Dude, I drink liquor straight. I just also happen to like carbonation. Ice cold sparkling water straight from the Sodastream is like ambrosia.

Might be an age thing. I'm 29 and I chug unflavored Topo-Chico like it's Prohibition. It has to be a good water though, e.g. don't frick with Perrier, that shit is inedible

Artificial sweeteners like aspartame have disgusted me since I was a kid. "this tastes like a bandaid!" Is what I'd say to my mom.
I drank lots of cans of soda as a teen, but as an adult I realized it wasn't the sugar I liked, it was the carbonation. I DO know what you mean being able to taste the carbonation and I totally get why some don't like it. It's probably less a "cilantro" thing and more "you don't like bitterness" thing.
For me, the tingle on my tongue of freshly carbonated water is INCREDIBLY refreshing. It tastes clean and energetic.
