I have a distinct memory of Kelsey Grammer going on Conan or something in the 90s and saying culinary should be pronounced CYOO-linary because it sounds better. I've watched all of his Conan interviews and can't find it, but I still have the urge to pronounce it that way due to what I can only assume was a fever dream.
